My Vampire Book Collection

I have an obsession with anything and everything vampires. I collect knick-knacks, books, movies, even computer graphics. I think the reason why they appeal to me is because they are mysterious, very seductive, and their immortality. My favorite books/movies about vampires would have to be when they are the Hero, the Good one. Why not? All 'beings' have the ability to be good or evil....

My List:

~The Last Vampire
series by Christopher Pike~
*Pike did an awesome job on these books. He actually incorporates real people in history into the story. It's about a 5000 yr old vampire woman named Sita. She is the last vampire on earth (or so she thinks) because of a vow she made to Krishna a few centuries back.

~The Vampire Memoirs and The Vampire Journals by Traci Briery~
*Memoirs is about an independant and savage woman who is shown how to become a 'real' woman again by a man. After much success in their life, a man from a neighboring city decides to try to make her a vampire (since he is one himself), his vampire. Journals is similar except the woman is from a later time and she is from a wealthy family...

~Dangerous Girls by R.L. Stine~
*Twin sisters come back from camp and they start noticing weird things happening to them: sleeping in late, feeling more hungry, etc. They later realize their father has been part of a group that gets rid of vampires....

~Voice of the Blood by Jemiah Jefferson~
*This one is a little provocative. A grad student incidentally befriends a vampire and they become lovers. She eventually is turned by him and they part ways.

~The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice~
*Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, Queen of the Damned....all and more are a part of Ms Rice's bestselling vampire books! I've only read the first 2...but I know the rest will be great.

~Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer
~The Bitten by L.A. Banks
~The Vampire Diaries series by L.J. Smith
~Goodnight Kiss 1 & 2 by R.L. Stine
~Bloodties by Karen E Taylor
~Thirsty by M.T. Anderson
~Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan

There's many more, but that'll be good for now.
